I am having trouble accessing the registration page, what should I do?
The online training course is Web Based, So it really doesn’t matter where you are in the World. As long as you have a computer and an internet Connection you’re good to go. If you’re having trouble accessing the registration page, make sure that you have downloaded your windows explorer updates or call us at: 604-800-6072 (This is Not Toll-Free)
When does the course start?
Given that it is an online Video Training Course that will run for 8 consecutive weeks, the course will begin for you as soon as you receive the access code. The access code will be sent to you within 24 hours after your registration.
What if I want to capitalize on the savings and begin a little later?
To guarantee the current price offer, it is best to sign up NOW. You will have Lifetime access to the EAP course, so you can begin whenever you choose to do so. You may also choose the 2 payment option. You will be charged an extra $50.00 for the payment plan to cover necessary administrative costs.
What if I fall behind either due to illness, holiday, or work/family demands?
Life is busy today and falling behind can happen. To complete the course and receive your 20 CEUs or Professional Development Hours and certificate, the course must be completed with all assignments handed in. It’s really up to you how fast or slow you want to take it. We have a recommended action plan email campaign guiding you along the way step by step. It’s best to follow that. You should strive to complete the course within 10 weeks or less. I am a bit of a softy and will give you an extension so that you can complete the modules and homework. Does successfully completing this course, ‘The Fundamentals & More of EAP / EFAP ‘ certify me as an EAP Counsellor?
No, this course does not certify you as an EAP Counsellor. Successfully completing this course will give you a certificate stating that you have completed 20 hours of course training in ‘ The Fundamentals & More of EAP / EFAP ‘. This training will give you an excellent grounding in the field of EAP that will benefit you in the future with either EAP clients and/or non-EAP clients. If you are already working in EAP, this course will help you understand in more detail the essence and business of EAP as well as help you communicate from a better knowledge base with clinical supervisors and other EAP management personnel. It will also help you work in a more effective and efficient way with EAP clients. If you are new to the field of EAP, this course will put you in a favorable position to market yourself to EAP Provider Companies as a contract ( affiliate ) counsellor or allow you the confidence to apply for the many and varied salaried positions that are available in the field of EAP.
